How to create & share magic links for no-login client access

Use Magic Links in SEO Gets when you want to share a client-facing dashboard without inviting someone into your full workspace. The person you send the link to can open the shared property dashboard, but control what you want them to see.

  1. Open the property you want to share.

  2. On your dashboard, set the date range, filters, and metrics so they show exactly what you want to share.

  3. Go to SettingsShared Link.

  4. If you've updated the dashboard view, click Regenerate Link.

  5. Copy the Magic Link and send it to the person who needs access.

SEO Gets shares the dashboard for that specific property, not your full account. If you manage more than one site, create a separate link for each property you want to share.

You can also embed the shared link into reporting platforms, such as SPP and Agency Analytics.

What recipients can access

A Magic Link opens the shared dashboard for one property. When recipients open the link, they will see the dashboard with your set filters and date range, but they can use the filtering options available in the shared view to modify the report to their preference as well.

Magic Links do not give someone access to your full SEO Gets workspace. They also do not give access to the GA4, Indexing, Annotations, Optimize, or Settings pages.

If someone needs broader access inside SEO Gets, invite them as a contributor instead of sending a Magic Link.

If you’ve changed the dashboard since the last time you shared it, click Regenerate Link before sending it again. This updates the link with the latest version of the dashboard view.

Best practices for client sharing

  • Set up the dashboard first so the recipient lands on the exact view you want to share.

  • Use a separate Magic Link for each client or site.

  • Test the link in a private browser window before you send it.

  • Invite team members as contributors when they need access beyond a shared dashboard.
