Recover Search Console access
When your Search Console property stops showing data in SEO Gets, it usually means the connection between your Google account and that property has changed. Here's how to figure out what happened and restore access.
Why your property disappeared
A property can disappear from your dashboard for a few reasons:
You lost access in Google Search Console. Someone revoked your permissions, or you were removed from the property.
The Google account you connected to SEO Gets changed. If you reconnected with a different Google account, the properties from your previous account won't appear unless both accounts are connected to SEO Gets.
A team member's account was providing access. If someone else on your team connected their Google account — and their account had the property — removing them or their disconnection can remove the property from your workspace.
The connection needs a refresh. Sometimes the link between Google and SEO Gets drifts and just needs to be re-established.
First, check who had access
Before you try to fix anything, figure out which Google account was providing access to the property:
Go to Settings → My Google Accounts in SEO Gets.
Review which Google accounts are connected to your workspace.
Ask your team: "Was anyone else's Google account providing access to this property?"
If a teammate's account was the source, the fastest fix is to have them reconnect their Google account to SEO Gets.
If you still have Google access, reconnect
If you confirmed you still have permissions in Google Search Console, but the property disappeared from SEO Gets, the connection likely just needs to be refreshed.
Find SEO Gets in the list and click it.
Click Delete all connections or remove SEO Gets.
Return to SEO Gets and sign in again with the same Google account.
Approve the read-only access request when prompted.
Your properties should reappear in your Master Dashboard within a few moments.
If you no longer have Google access
If you've confirmed that your Google account no longer has access to the Search Console property itself, SEO Gets cannot restore that property — you'll need to regain access in Google first.
Ask someone with Owner or Full permissions on the property to grant you access in Google Search Console. Once you've been added back:
Reconnect your Google account to SEO Gets using the steps above.
Your property will appear after the connection is re-established.
If a teammate's account was providing access
When a property was only visible because another team member's Google account had permissions, that property can disappear if:
They were removed from your SEO Gets workspace
They lost access to the property in Google Search Console
They disconnected their Google account
To restore access:
Confirm the teammate still has access to the property in Google Search Console.
If they do, have them reconnect their Google account to your SEO Gets workspace.
If they no longer have access, you'll need a property owner to grant access to another Google account — either yours or another team member's.
After company account changes
If your company changed Google accounts, restructured teams, or someone's account was deactivated, the property access may have moved to a new account. In these cases:
Verify which Google account currently has Owner or Full permissions in Google Search Console.
Connect that Google account to SEO Gets from Settings → My Google Accounts.
If the original account owner is no longer available, see Recover access after account deactivation.
