Enable, reassign, and remove Super Sites
Super Sites are an add-on you manage per site. You can enable them for specific domains, reassign them to other properties, or remove them when they're no longer needed—all from the Super Sites panel in your account.
Each Super Site costs $10/month. If you need to add one to your account, see How to purchase Super Sites.
Enable a Super Site
Enabling a Super Site turns on expanded features for a specific property—Index Reporting, extended data storage, faster performance, and higher row limits.
Click your avatar → Settings → Team → Super Sites.
Click + Upgrade Sites.
Select the site you want to upgrade from the dropdown.
If you have an available Super Site slot, the site will be upgraded immediately.
If you don't have a slot available, you'll be prompted to add one for $10/month before continuing.
Click Confirm.
After you enable a Super Site, Index Reporting becomes available for that property. To set it up, see Upgrade to Super Site.
Super Sites billing basics
Here's what you need to know about how Super Sites billing works:
Adding a Super Site
Each Super Site costs $10/month. When you add a new slot, it's added to your subscription immediately and assigned to the site you selected.
Reassigning a Super Site
Your subscription doesn't change when you reassign—you're moving an existing slot from one site to another. The $10/month charge stays the same.
Removing a Super Site
When you remove a Super Site, the slot becomes available for reassignment. You won't be charged for additional slots you're not using, but you also won't receive a credit for unused time on that slot.
For questions about mid-cycle changes or billing adjustments, contact support via in-app chat.
Reassign a Super Site to another property
Reassigning (or swapping) a Super Site moves it from one property to another. This is useful when a client churns or you want to redirect the add-on to a higher-priority site.
Go to Super Sites in your account settings.
Click Downgrade Site.
Select the Super Site you want to reassign.
Choose Replace the site with a different site.
Pick the new property from the dropdown.
Click Downgrade to confirm the swap.
Your subscription doesn't change when you reassign a Super Site—you're just moving the designation from one property to another.
What happens after reassignment
The old site loses Super Site features. Index Reporting and extended storage stop for that property.
The new site starts fresh. You'll need to set up Index Reporting again for the new property. Extended storage activates the moment the site is upgraded.
Remove a Super Site
Removing a Super Site frees up the slot for later use but ends extended features for that property.
Go to Super Sites in your account settings.
Click Downgrade Site.
Select the Super Site you want to remove.
Choose Remove the Super Site (it can be reassigned later).
Type the site name to confirm.
Click Downgrade.
What happens after removal
Extended storage data is deleted within 7 days. Standard Google Search Console data (16 months) remains accessible.
Index Reporting stops. You'll lose access to Index Reporting for this site and no longer receive weekly indexing alerts.
The Super Site becomes available for reassignment. You can assign it to another site at any time.
Notifying clients about removal
If you manage Super Sites for clients, let them know when you remove a Super Site from their property. They'll lose access to:
Weekly Indexing Report emails
Extended historical data beyond 16 months
Index Reporting dashboards in any shared client portals
We recommend notifying clients before removal so they can export any data they need.
